Dr. Akhilesh Yadav has been awarded the "2024 ALISE Research Award" from the Association for Library and Information Science Education, USA for his research proposal on library and information science education and research. His research project, titled "Bridging Gaps in Local and Global Perspectives in Library and Information Science Education: Convergences and Divergences in Postgraduate Programs" was selected from numerous submissions. Dr. Yadav's work focuses on the important and timely topic of aligning LIS education with both local needs and international standards.
